This Privacy Policy explains how Big Market 360 Private Limited (“we”, “us”), which operates TicketClap, collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our platform.
By using TicketClap you consent to the practices described here. We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2. Information we collect
Account data: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and password (stored hashed).
Booking data: tickets purchased, attendee details, billing address, and payment metadata (we never store full card numbers).
Usage data: IP address, device, browser, pages visited, and interaction events. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service.
Organizer data: KYC documents, bank account or UPI VPA, GSTIN, and business contact information.
3. How we use information
To deliver and improve the Service — creating accounts, processing bookings, issuing tickets, computing payouts, and providing customer support.
To send transactional communication (booking confirmations, refund notices, payout receipts) and, with your consent, marketing emails you can unsubscribe from any time.
To comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
4. Sharing information
With organizers — limited attendee data needed to deliver the experience (name, contact, ticket type).
With service providers — payment gateways (Razorpay), email infrastructure (ZeptoMail), and cloud hosting providers, under strict confidentiality.
With authorities — when required by court order, statute, or to prevent imminent harm.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Your rights
Access, correct, or delete your personal data via your account or by writing to [email protected].
Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you believe your rights have been violated.
6. Data retention
Account and booking data is retained for up to 7 years after your last activity to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Marketing preferences are retained until you change them.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, role-based access controls, and routine vulnerability testing. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact [email protected] immediately.
8. Children
TicketClap is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Parents who believe their child has provided information should contact [email protected] for deletion.
9. Changes
We will update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance.
